Jane Dauncey
Jane Dauncey was development producer to Ruth Caleb at BBC Wales
TV Drama. She has produced In The Company of Strangers, Harpur and
Iles, The Story of Tracy Beaker (series 1, RTS award & 2) Roman
Mysteries (series 2), and Zig Zag Love.
Jane has extensive experience in working with new writers for TV
and radio. She worked in Zimbabwean community theatre for a year
and in Moscow on the Animated Shakespeare
series.
She was Series Producer on Casualty in Bristol from 2004-2006
and approached Barbara Machin, one of Casualty's original writers,
to return as Series Consultant. Out of this came the high-rating
and mould-breaking Christmas 2006 episodes of Casualty, written by
Barbara, produced by Jane Steventon, which led to a BAFTA for best
continuing drama in May 2007 - the first BAFTA in the show's 21
year history.

Jane Steventon started her career in television at The Walt
Disney Company in 2001 and has worked as both script editor and
producer for CBBC Drama in London & Scotland, BBC Drama Series
and
RDF.
Her work spans both development and production, on projects such
as Tracy Beaker's Movie of Me (Prix Danube, Broadcast Award), Tracy
Beaker Series1-4, Doctors, The Raven (development), Noah &
Saskia (ABC Australia/BBC), Casualty (BAFTA award winning episodes)
and Kiss of Death (1-off).
